One of the most crucial items to include with your wedding plans is the wedding favors that you’ll give your guests to make their experience more enjoyable. Weddings both large and small will benefit from the enjoyment that wedding favors bring to the guests, and they also work great as a way to make your table look more decorative. There is a very wide variety of wedding favors that are on the market today including personalized items as well as items that will actually be used during the wedding reception itself. Though there are literally thousands of options out there, here is a short list of my personal favorite options to help with your inspiration.

At many wedding receptions, there is a general tradition of your guests clanging on the side of their glasses to encourage the new couple to kiss. Though the sentiment is rather charming, it can get very annoying to have clanging glasses throughout your first meal as a married couple. For this reason, many couples choose to give out “kissing bells” as their wedding favors. Essentially, they are little bells that your guests can ring when they want you to kiss. Often times they will have your wedding date on them so your guests can take them home and have a reminder of your special day for years to come.

Sparklers

If you’re like most couple, you are interested in choosing a wedding favor that is very interactive and will actually be used by your guests during the reception. One of the best options for this purpose is wedding sparklers because your guests will enjoy them before your very eyes. There are several things that you can do with wedding sparklers during a reception, and only your creativity can hold you back for options. Many couples replace the traditional confetti or birdseed used during their exit with wedding sparklers because they are better for the environment. On top of all that, wedding sparklers are so cheap that they can be afforded by nearly everyone which makes them a great choice for couples on a budget.

Wedding Candy

Wedding candy is by far the most common thing that you’ll see on the tables in any reception hall. It is very hard to find someone who doesn’t like candy, so it is almost certain to be a hit with the majority of your wedding guests. It is also a great idea to have some sugar free candy in case some of your guests aren’t able to eat sugar. Many couples choose to have wedding candy on their reception tables in addition to other favors, but if you happen to be on a bit of a budget, you can get away with wedding candy alone as your only wedding favor for the guests.
